MO/DE is a development company focused on the intersection of art and design in the built environment.
Developer Matt Oppenheim has curated a portfolio of places that speak to the mind, the eyes, and the heart. From thoughtfully rendered condo reinventions, sprawling multi-use spaces reimagined within historic mansions, to solid single family homes, all MO/DE projects have two things in common:

They combine sophistication with a touch of artful danger,
and they involve good people.
Matt went to school at Hobart William Smith for Architectural Studies and Studio Art, later earning a Masters in Real Estate Development at the University of Maryland with a focus on landscape design. He spent time at Whiting Turner as a Project Engineer, supported the capital market group at Walker and Dunlop, and eventually co-founded a boutique real estate development collaboration, WODevelop.
Born out of a desire for a different approach to the development cycle, MO/DE – a brand moniker for Matthew Oppenheim Development – is the most recent step in Matt’s evolution as a developer, project manager, place-maker and curator.
Guided by the principle that a project is only as good as the people collaborating to execute the vision, all the clientele, partners, and consultants involved at MO/DE are given creative room to express themselves and expand the collective field of what's possible.

The continued pursuit of an improved result
and deep commitment to learning through creative iteration
is always the goal.
